Sometimes, I get lost in the love of the way the darkness bends and stirs, in reaction to the touch of the light. It often seems to be a slow aesthetic dance - a turn, a curve, a sharp line, a crafty blending, ultimately, an engulfment. Perhaps they'd always known that one was bound to overwhelm the other, yet they do it anyways, for it is the loveliness of the process that counts. And I find this process particularly beautiful on faces.
